Dr. Edgar Miller is an amateur Nature Photographer residing in Ocean View, Delaware. His love of all things outdoors began in the 1950's as he accompanied his Mom on her many birding trips where she taught him to identify the numerous species inhabiting the woods and fields of his youth. This passion for nature grew through his 12 years of Scouting where he earned his Eagle rank and served as Nature Counselor at Scout camps in Florida in the 1960's. His photographic skills were developed at the University of Florida's Poultry Science Department where he served as the "unofficial" photographer while pursuing his Ph.D. in avian nutrition and physiology.

When asked to describe his style, Ted's reply is always "capturing the subject's personality is my goal". From Snowy Egrets hustling to a meal to graceful Avocets awakening to an autumn morning his bird photographs have garnered numerous awards.
